DRIP celebrates with an All Female Love Story & New Color Bar

Join DRIP the week of Gay Days to celebrate with a full theatrical show featuring an all female love triangle and brand new Color Bar with drinks in all shades of the rainbow.  It's part rock concert, part performance art and part neighborhood dive bar. DRIP combines live music and dancers who tell an all too relatable love story gone wrong while utilizing different media – sand, paint, water and a few colorful surprises – in an up-close, gritty, in-your-face setting. It's wet and sexy, fun! Prepare to be amazed as dancers perform with raining liquid and sand, creating an all-new definition of “splash zone.” After the show, join the after-party with DJ Freshmat, dancing, interactive paint shower (that you can try) and the Color Bar until midnight!

Orlando Musician Audition (Drummer, Guitarist, Bassist)

DRIP is holding auditions for Drummers, Guitarists and Bass Guitarists. Be a part of a LIVE theatrical rock experience with dancers, paint, flying water and sand. It's an artsy warehouse space with 2 stages!

We are growing so quickly and are looking for talented, contagiously positive musicians to come with us to the next level!

You must have flexible availability on Friday and Saturday evenings 7:30pm-10:30pm.

Written by David Traver (of Blue Man Group) with sounds like Perfect Circle, Tool and Failure.

There are also opening band/after party opportunities to perform in jam bands, cover bands, experimental bands, or bring in your own band to perform in front of local, national and international audiences.

A Clockwork Orange comes to DRIP this week!

Based on Anthony Burgess’ acclaimed 1962 novel of the same title, A Clockwork Orange tells the story of Alex and his droogs as they wreak havoc in the streets of London. When Alex is caught and subjected to an experimental treatment to “cure” his violent tendencies, all hell breaks loose, and questions are raised about human nature and the freedom of choice. 

Director Jeremy Seghers is staging A Clockwork Orange as an immersive experience, and due to mature content, the production is not recommended for children. 

See DRIP on Friday and Saturday, and stay for a special late night performance of A Clockwork Orange.

DRIP is opening an Underground Vampire Bar in Orlando (International Drive)

 

October, 2015

Performance art group, DRIP, is creating a safe haven for the Vampires and their human friends. Finally there will be a place in Orlando for Vampires to be themselves, sip “Blood” from the Blood Bar, watch dancers enjoy “Blood” baths, take a “Blood” shower, witness human sacrifices, enjoy live music, and full theatrical show featuring performances in paint, sand, “blood”, flying water and more.  The Underground Vampire Bar will be at DRIP for a limited time in October on International Drive just down the street from the New Orlando Eye and on the backside of the Senor Frogs building.

The Underground Vampire Bar will begin with a soft opening weekend on Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3, 2015 and Grand Opening Party on Friday, October 9, 2015 for a 4 week run.

“We’ve been wanting to convert DRIP into a dark and sexy Vampire environment in October for a couple of years and the timing is finally right to make it a reality.  I love to create new forms of stimulation and challenge our team to create new twists in our storyline to feature a vampire falling in love with a human, eternal love, heartbreak and color red!” said Jessica Marko, DRIP founder.

Guests coming to DRIP’s Underground Vampire Bar will start by changing into a limited edition white vampire t-shirt and make their way over to the killer paint station to paint their shirts and paint their friends.  Performance artists will be enjoying a bath in the liquor blood hammock while guests grab a drink of choice from the Blood Bar. T-shirt artists will custom design and cut guest’s shirts for $5 and turn them into corsets, dresses, tank tops and more.

There will be a custom vampire DRIP show featuring a live band and dancers telling a story of eternal love and heartbreak.

Post show, guests will join an after party until midnight with DJ Marone, dance floor, interactive blood shower, human sacrifices and one lucky winner will receive a complimentary bottle of DRIP “Bloodeaux” Wine nightly at 11:00 PM!

DRIP’s Underground Vampire Bar will be open every Friday and Saturday in October as well as for special events including the Florida Premiere of “Clockwork Orange” on Oct. 15-19, Local Art Night on Oct. 22, and Zombie College Paint Party on Oct. 29.

The Underground Vampire Bar will finish with a closing night party on Halloween, October 31, featuring an afterparty with “The Bloody Jug Band”.

The Underground Vampire Bar tickets range from $20-$79.  Doors and activities open at 8:00PM. Guests will want to dress to get and colorful and wet, shorts and flipflops are perfect. Paint Patrick's Day in Orlando

 Celebrate St. Patrick's day at DRIP on March, 17 in Orlando!

For a limited time, in the month of March, guests of all ages can attend DRIP!  This is still an edgy experience with mature elements and guest under 18 are required to be accompanied by a legal guardian.

DRIP is part rock concert, part performance art and part industrial bar. It's a new entertainment experience unlike any other in Orlando.

DRIP combines live music and dancers who utilize different media – sand, paint, water and a few surprises – in an up-close, gritty, in-your-face setting. It's wet and sexy fun.  Prepare to be amazed as dancers perform with raining liquid and sand, creating an all-new definition of “splash zone.”
